The ONLY Fruitcake that you will keep.

I decided that I wanted to make a loaf of fruitcake for my upcoming shows.
Since, I have never wanted to even try eating a fruitcake, I decided that I should just make a soap fruitcake.
Let's think of the similarities:
They are both hard, although I think the "edible" fruitcake will last longer.
They can both cleanse-1 inside and 1 outside
Finally, they both look pretty, but taste terrible, at least that is what I am told.
This is a mini-loaf, it weighs 1 lb and uses a blend of 8 different oils, both essential and fragrance oils for it's fragrance.
It comes wrapped in cling wrap and in a tin pan as shown.
It will have a nice big red ribbon-Perfect for gift giving!
All that you need to do is slice it and serve it to your guests.

What do you think?

Comments Please

Hello :)
I have a question:
This is for everyone, soapers, nonsoapers, users of natural handmade soap, and users of Grocery Store soap.
Would you pay $9.50-$9.75 for a 7 oz bar of natural soap make with oils, butters, and essential oils?
Please leave your comments-My mind REALLY Needs to Know!

The reason I need to know, I spent $9.50 on a bar of soap today and I'm thinking that I paid way too much.

UPDATE: the ingredients are listed in the comments section

Gift Baskets-Yes You Can!

Here at Milk and Cookeez I am always asked if I make Gift Baskets. The easiest answer is no we do not offer Gift Baskets.

Not because we are anti-gift basket. (Personally, I LOVE getting a gift basket, so many little presents all in one box/basket, very fun.)
We just don't carry all of the products that you would like to find in a gift basket.
Occasionally, we do offer Buckets of Milk and Cookeez goodies-these gift buckets can be found at Charity Events and our Open Houses, but we do not usually offer Gift Baskets/Buckets.
That being said-if a customer requests a Handpicked Product and would like us to make up a special gift-we have done it and will continue to do it, we just don't advertise this service.

If you are still reading-I will direct you to a site that will give you exactly what you need.
Lesley, of Laguna Beach Cottage Shoppe will make you a Quality Gift Basket with lots of different Milk and Cookeez products.
The best part, if you are on the West Coast-shipping will be easier than if you order from me directly!

Get your Gifting Needs satisfied in Ohio or California-the choice is yours, Milk and Cookeez is now yummy bath time fun across the USA!

A Tierney Discount and a Fun NEW Product!

Oh Fun- I just received this email from Alyssa over at A. Tierney and she has graciously offered a 25% Discount to you lucky Milk and Cookeez Readers.
So head on over and Check out A. Tierney. You are bound to find something spectacular!

Neiman Marcus, has done it this time, The Ultimate Cupcake!

Cupcakes are definately the "IN" thing-You can tell by this amazing CAR!
My only question-do you need a drivers license to drive a cupcake?

This information is from Neiman Marcus:

Put on your matching hat, slip under the muffin top of your Cupcake Car, and let the world figure itself out for awhile. Get (or give) the sheer, joyful chaos of a gift that is mind-blowing, triple-dog-dare, double-infinity forever cool. Make the kids or grandkids literally squeal with joy. Bring it to work and buzz the breakroom. Crash parades! Putter about the ‘hood. Ever had a crowd of kids chasing after you just for the crazy gleeful heck of it? (No worries, the top speed is a comfy-safe 7 mph.) What’s it made of? A 24-volt electric motor, a heavy-duty battery, sheet metal, wire, fabric, wood…and mad genius. Launched at Burning ManSM as a cooperative art car project, the Cupcake Car sprang from the fevered mind of Bay Area artist Lisa Pongrace and her less-rules-more-laughs posse of artists and techno geeks. Yours will be tricked out with your favorite topping, so start thinking flavors.

Oh Martha-What have you Done?

Martha, I am so saddened. I can not believe that you have done this to me, Why, Why Why????
I've given you so much, learned so much, bought soooo much, but you have let me down.
I understand that an empire is only as big as it's Kingdom (Queendom), but to turn and leave, it hurt, it hurt, really bad.
-Tammy

For those of you who don't know, we remodeled Milk and Cookeez HQ recently, see here.
I decided after a LONG time in the Lowes Paint Dept. to pick Vintage Map, a light aqua, that can have the slight look of green to it, in different lights. This was a Martha Stewart Color.
I chose this color for a few different reasons, but a big one being the coordinating colors.
I bought the Vintage Map color about 6 weeks ago. Today when I went to Lowes to get the coordinating "tan/beige" color-THERE WERE NO MARTHA STEWART COLORS! AHHHHHHHHHH!
While some of you may be thinking that there were probably 500 other beige's in Lowes & that I could have easily matched it I say , pffft. (That is what my hubby said.)
It took me forever to find these colors and dag nabbit-I wasn't going home with some Sea Glass, Valspar, Eddie Bauer (I thought they went bankrupt?) color-I wanted my Martha!
So, after I politely (while hyperventilating) asked the paint guy (who, by the way, I remember getting me my other Martha Color.) To please tell me where the Martha Paints went-he saw that I had the color swatch and asked to see it.
HE WAS ABLE TO LOCATE THE CODE IN THE COMPUTER-it hadn't been updated yet!
YEAH-Victory-Martha is mine!!!!
I came home with 2 gallons of my perfectly coordinated color, even though I only need 1. You never, ever know!

Note to Lowes and Martha Stewart-I love you both so very much, but please do not EVER do this to me again! I may be crafty and somewhat handy, but when it comes to paint-I am color phobic. You could have very well given me an aneurysm right in front of the blow up, animated Christmas Decorations! (What the heck-CHRISTMAS Blow Ups already???)
